About Berryman TH Camp

Located at the former site of a 1937 Civilian Conservation Corps camp, this small campground also serves as the trailhead for the 24-mile Berryman Trail. This quiet, remote campground offers 8 individual sites for hikers, mountain bikers, equestrian riders, backpackers, and campers alike. Each site is primitive, offering no water or electric hookups, but does offer a picnic table, fire ring, and lantern post. A centrally located vault toilet is offered, but no drinking water is available in the campground. Horse are permitted in the campground, and stock water is located nearby.

A picnic pavillion is also available on a first-come, first-served basis, and can accomodate groups of approx. 25-30 people.

As the name implies, this campground serves as a trailhead for the Berryman Trail, with the other main trailhead being located a few miles away at Brazil Creek Campground.
