Details & Directions

Pam's Grotto is located deep in a ravine with towering bluffs along the way that are popular with rock climbers. When you first see these towering giants, you will know why. The waterfall itself is tucked away in one of the most beautiful grottos, and is guarded by two huge boulders, plus numerous other large rocks and boulders strewn about. This is truly a wonderful place.

The parking area is located near Haw Creek Falls Campground, which is located on AR Hwy 123 between Lamar and Pelsor/Scenic Hwy 7. From the road into the campground, head East for ½ mile, until you see a pulloff on your Right that leads down to a small parking area next to Haw Creek.

The trail begins Across the road from where you are parked, and to the right of a small creek that goes underneath the highway. Follow this trail uphill for about ¼ mile, until you reach the base of the bluffs. Turn Left and follow along the base of the bluffs for another ¼ mile, and then all of a sudden you will stumble upon the grotto. Be sure to visit during the rainy season, as that is when it looks best.
