Details & Directions

While this waterfall is not all that tall or impressive, its location is what makes it unique. When a road was being created to the top of Mount Magazine back in the 1930's, an expert named James W. Hardy was brought in to help with the road design and construction. His stone work is what stands out, and the culverts that remain today are beautiful. One of these culverts happens to line up with this waterfall, creating a unique point of view. The waterfall is named after Mr. Hardy.

To view these falls, from the visitor center at Mount Magazine State Park, go South on AR Hwy 309 for 6 miles. You will find the falls on your Left on a sharp curve. You can park just past the falls on the right side of the road. The falls can also be reached by traveling north on AR Hwy 309 from Havana.

DO NOT enter the creek or culverts during periods of high water.
