About Lake Charles

Located along the shore of 645 acre Lake Charles, anglers and nature lovers alike will enjoy what Lake Charles State Park has to offer. On the eastern foothills of the Ozark Mountains, Lake Charles offers fishing for bass, crappie, bream and catfish.

60 campsites are available for an overnight stay, and one Rent-An-RV is also offered. Lake Charles State Park also features picnic sites, trails, a screened-in pavilion, boat launch ramp, swimming beach, and a kids playground. A visitor's center is also available, selling gifts, camping items, and snacks.

Park staff offer interpretive programs, including party barge lake tours and guided kayak tours.
